Equipment for Nā Pua Makani will be transported nightly Sundays through Friday mornings beginning on Sunday, October 13 to Tuesday, November 26 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers in the following communities may be impacted by traffic: Waialua, Haleiwa, Sunset, Kahuku, and Lā‘ie.

Monday, November 18
- Closure of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) in both directions from Laniakea Beach to Sunset Beach from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Roving right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway from Sunset Beach to Kahuku, from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Tuesday, November 19
- Closure of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) in both directions from Laniakea Beach to Sunset Beach from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Roving right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway from Sunset Beach to Kahuku, from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Wednesday, November 20
- Closure of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) in both directions from Laniakea Beach to Sunset Beach from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Roving right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway from Sunset Beach to Kahuku, from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.
The transport of equipment for Nā Pua Makani is complete. No further road closures for the project are scheduled at this time.
